Test Lab for SAP Customer Connection Program

Do you know that experts from the global SAP EAM user communities are currently working with the SAP EAM development team to enhance some of the features and functions for the SAP Plant Maintenance application? This initiative is driven under the customer connection program that SAP offers to various global user groups of SAP solutions. This year ASUG has taken the initiative to identify a large number of improvement requests that the SAP development team is planning to include in the product.

SAP and ASUG are providing a unique opportunity to review progress of various development requests received by SAP. This opportunity is planned during the SAP-Centric EAM 2017 conference, and intends to make your participation in the event more meaningful. A special test lab will be set up where members who are registered to participate in a particular customer connection project will be able to test new functionality on a live system. What will Test Lab at SAP Centric EAM provide?

SAP will set up a test lab with the possibility for customers to access new functionality and do some hands on tests of these improvements. Users will be given a 30-minute time slot with a preconfigured test system. Experts from SAP development team will be available to answer questions to ensure that participants get the relevant information to implement the improvements in their own productive environment when they return from the event.

How to register for participation?

Following are two perquisite to participate in the test lab:

1. You should have registered at the SAP EAM Plant Maintenance influence page and reviewed improvement requests currently planned to be delivered.
2. You should also be registered for the SAP-Centric EAM 2017 conference.

Interested participants should select one of the time slots listed below and inform to book the slot. Each slot will be confirmed on a first come first served basis. Participants will be provided with test scripts to test the new features, but can also perform additional test steps if they want to within the allotted time slot.

What benefits will participants have?

As a participant you will have early insight into the notes SAP will be releasing. You can receive information about the steps you will need to follow to activate this new functionality in your own system. SAP will have experts from development team available to answer technical or functional questions. This will help you to quickly understand, evaluate and implement new features that have been requested by the global SAP EAM user community.
