SAP and Square have partnered to integrate Square with SAP Business One® to provide an easy and powerful solution to serve the needs of small businesses, franchises and subsidiaries of large enterprises.

Square will offer an integration to SAP Business One. The integrated solution is available through selected SAP Business One partners today in Canada and the United States, and we aim to have this available in early 2018 in Australia, Japan and the United Kingdom. A good example of this functionality is the Enterpryze Omni channel suite which will be available October 25 at this link www.enterpryze.com for new customers, or to add Square Retail to existing SAP Business One deployments. Additional integration of capabilities between Square and SAP Business One are expected to become available in early 2018 for Electronic Invoicing, e-Commerce, and Virtual Terminal bill payment.

By integrating with Square, SAP Business One customers can sync their SAP and Square data, and have access to Square’s hardware and payments processing. Now, Business One customers can access the Square platform to accept chip cards and contactless payments, next-day settlement and the ability to deposit funds instantly.

Luis Murguia, SVP and GM of SAP Business One said “We’re excited about this partnership because it has produced immediately useful capabilities for many existing customers of SAP Business One, and will also enable new solutions for customers in Field Service, Retail, Transportation & Logistics, and Wholesale. The elegance and ease of Square in the front office combined with the power of Business One in the back office empower businesses to run simple in ways that weren’t possible previously.”

Matt Laukaitis, SVP and GM of SAP Retail, Inc. said ”Retail is going through a profound evolution, and while that’s disruptive for many existing market leaders it also opens huge opportunities for new entrants. I’m especially excited about how the combination of SAP Business One and Square can enable high growth young retailers to both innovate and manage the core processes of their businesses as one.”

Kevin Burke, Square’s CMO said, “By partnering with SAP Business One we’re excited to bring powerful and affordable hardware and financial services to larger retailers with sophisticated back office needs. Integrating Square and Business One means growing retailers have all the tools they need on one connected platform.”

Pankaj Bengani, Square’s Partnerships Lead said, “Increasingly, retailers are now operating across a variety of channels — in store, online, mobile, wholesale, and more. By partnering with SAP we’re able to give these sellers a view of their entire business both front and back office operations, to make smarter decisions and ultimately help their business grow.”

A webinar series describing the use cases enabled by the integration between SAP Business One and Square Retail will begin on November 7 and can be registered for at this link www.brighttalk.com/channel/14447/sap-business-one
